Overview
My intention is to help you make your writing SHINE and achieve the goals YOU have set. Being a writer myself, I know how nerve-wracking it can be to take something so near and dear and send it to someone else—let alone a stranger—knowing that they will pick it apart. Rest assured that I will do so. Not out of judgement (goodness knows I make mistakes too!), but out of a true desire to make your piece AMAZING.

SERVICES
Proofread: grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
Copy Edit: grammar, spelling, punctuation, flow, continuity, and overall readability.
Line Edit: ensures your language is clear, fluid, and conveys a sense of atmosphere, emotion, and tone • redundancies, overuse of words/sentences, confusing action or scenes, unnatural phrasing, clarify meaning, and bland language use • generally does not focus on manuscript with purpose of finding technical errors.
Developmental Edit: Focuses on structure. Broad changes such as overall plot, world building, character development, voice, story, structure, writing quality, and dialogue.
Rates for editing:
Proofread/Copy Edit/Line Edit > $30/hr
Developmental Edit > $46.05/hr
Project word count determines quoted amount.

ABOUT ME
I am a lifelong book nerd, turned writer. I am blessed to have been able to copy edit, line edit, and proofread short-stories, full length novels, and anthologies. These projects have spanned several genres, including horror, fantasy, romance, and sci-fi.
My own (true) short story was included in an audiobook, Haunted: True Tales of the Paranormal, published by Gestalt-Media. Another of my short stories, "I Did This For You", also published by Gestalt-Media, can be found in the Gestalt Media Best of 2020 Short Story Collection. Outside of the writing field, I work professionally as a Certified Medical Coder (CPC)—assigning billing codes to medical documentation for billing purposes—which requires an eagle eye for details that easily transfers to editing.
